www.cleavercottage.co.uk Cleaver Cottage is a small bed & breakfast business in a rural location on the edge of the picturesque village of Appleshaw just 5 miles from Andover and the A303, so a good stop-over if on your way to the West Country, we are also 5 miles from Tidworth. We are centrally located for visiting historic places such as Salisbury and Winchester, both fine Cathedral cities, and just 20 minutes from Stonehenge and the charming town of Stockbridge. Thruxton racing circuit is also close by and we are within the Test Valley which is famous for its outstanding chalk stream fishing.
The cottage dates back to the early eighteen hundreds and has a wealth of character including exposed beams. There is a working forge to the rear of the premises
The accommodation is a double/twin bedroom and a family room, both with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast is available in a large dining room between 7am – 8.30am (weekdays) and 7.30am – 9.30am (weekends) or by separate arrangement.
We can offer equipment for a small child such as a travel cot and highchair. We can also offer to babysit for an extra charge.
